Your stake: joining and finishing a game
Cadoo games are money-motivated. You put a stake on the line, hit your goal, and win. These lines follow that stake from start to finish.
- 🔒 Game Stake Locked — You joined a game and your entry fee is locked in, on the line until the game ends. The line shows the game's name and the amount set aside.
- 🔒 Game Stake Locked (Failed) — The same locked stake, now flagged because you didn't hit your goal (or were disqualified).
- 🕊️ Game Stake Unlocked — You did it. You hit your goal, so your stake is released right back to you.
- 🔙 Game Stake Returned — The game was cancelled, so your full stake was refunded.
- ❌ Game Stake Lost — You missed your goal and the game paid out, so your stake went to the players who hit theirs. This line reads $0.00 because the money already left your balance back when your stake was locked — it's a marker, not a second charge.
Winning: your share of the pot
- 🏆 Winner's Share — Your cut of the prize. The forfeited stakes of players who didn't finish are split among the players who did.
- 🎁 Top Winner Bonus — An extra reward for top finishers in games that carry a sponsored prize pool.
Hosting your own game
When you create your own game and add a prize pool, two lines track it:
- 🎯 Prize Pool Funded — You seeded the prize pool for a game you're hosting.
- 🏆↩️ Prize Pool Return — Any prize-pool money that wasn't won comes back to you after the game ends. Winners are paid from forfeited stakes first and the pool second, so whatever they don't claim from your pool returns to you.
Adding and cashing out money
- 💰 Deposit — You added funds to your Cadoo balance, via Stripe or PayPal.
- ⏱️ Withdrawal Pending — Your cashout is being processed.
- 💸 Withdrawal Completed — Your cashout has been sent, via PayPal or Stripe.
Other lines you might see
- 💪 Cadoo Support — A manual credit or adjustment made by our support team.
- 💀 Cheater/Fraud — Funds reversed after a cheating or fraud review. Keeping games fair is how we keep them worth playing.
- 🦖 Voucher / Transaction (v1) — A balance carried over from the original version of Cadoo.

What's the difference between "Game Stake Unlocked" and "Game Stake Returned"?
Unlocked means you succeeded — you hit your goal and your stake came back. Returned means the game itself was cancelled and your stake was refunded.
Why does "Game Stake Lost" show $0.00?
Your stake already left your balance when it was locked at the start of the game. The "Lost" line simply marks that it went to the winners — no extra money moves, so the amount is zero.
When do I get my stake back?
The moment you hit your goal. You'll see "Game Stake Unlocked" and your stake returns — plus a "Winner's Share" if there's a pot to split among finishers.
Where's my deposit or withdrawal fee?
Any fee is included in the amount you're charged at checkout, so the line in your balance always reflects the exact amount added or withdrawn.
How is the "Prize Pool Return" calculated?
